I Have Never Known a Love Like This

I have never had anyone purchase a plane ticket for me so I could come for a visit. I have never had anyone rent a cabin for me. I have never had anyone do something big for my birthday. I have never known a love like this before. If all goes according to plan, it will be the last deep and romantic love I will ever know. Tucked away in the woods all weekend, I have never felt so special in my life. Everyone deserves to feel this kind of love.

Cabin Life

We weren’t exactly roughing it in Suncadia. Our cabin was in close proximity to a golf course and a lodge, but we still found ourselves far from Seattle among the mountains and trees. As I took in every square inch of our weekend getaway, it dawned on me this is how my final years should be spent. Brandon prefers the ocean. I prefer the woods. This means the Washington coast will come calling someday.

Cle Elum & Roslyn

Living in Seattle for six years, I never made the trip to Cle Elum or Roslyn. After spending a long weekend visiting both towns, I regret not making the trip sooner. Each little town possessed a northwest charm that filled my soul and made long for life back in my adopted home state. As we walked the streets, explored little stores, and made a temporary home, I have never felt more connected to my partner.
